The present course of studies extends from Nursery and will continue to till Std. XII and is oriented towards the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E.) and Indian School Certificate (I.S.C.)
The medium of instruction is English. However, Hindi has a vital role in the curriculum and is taught daily in all grades. Education at Loyola is liberal and universal, but at the same time, it is Indian and firmly rooted in Indian History and tradition, and according to the suggestions made by the Indian Education Commission.
The curriculum, therefore, embraces Religion, Value Education, Catechism, English, Hindi, Environmental Education, History & Civics, Geography, Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics Application, Commercial Application, Computer, Sanskrit and Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW).
Since education at Loyola School, Telco is conducted in English and a high standard of English is required for success in I.C.S.E. and I.S.C., the use of English in the school campus is compulsory.
Regular attendance, alertness in class, the performance of regular classwork and revision are sufficient to make progress. Parents could make the class teaching even more valuable if they speak correct English and Hindi with their wards at home.
In this connection, it is to be noted that private tuition is regarded as unnecessary. It encourages students to be inattentive in class. No student is allowed to go to his/her own subject teacher for tuition.
